We're branching out! (or at least Deb is). The Gates half of the "other Allen & Gates" traveled to Sandy Hook, New Jersey to compete as part of a family relay team in the New York Metro Danskin on September 13, 2009.
The Family relay team came within 3 minutes of taking first place in the survivor relay team category - whoo hoo! This is especially impressive when you consider that the team that did take first place consisted of three 20-somethings; and Deb, her mom, and her cousin, are far from 20 years old :).
